We have a number of attractive garden spaces in Farncombe and Godalming, which have been created and maintained for the enjoyment of the local community.
The raised beds and mature trees in the quiet garden at St John's Church make it a special place place to visit, while for a wonderful wildflower display Eashing Cemetery is recommended.
The residents of Meadrow Court benefit from beautiful hanging baskets and a garden filled with roses and other delights, and during the summer months commuters at Farncombe Station are met by a cheerful display of flowers, shrubs and climbers as they arrive back from London.
In the last few years there have been two important additions to local community gardens. Farncombe Community Garden, whose vision is to 'grow community wellbeing', opened its gates in 2023, while the Broadwater Youth Centre Wellbeing Garden was officially opened in autumn 2024.
Date of this year's judging visits: 24th June 2026
